vivo launched its V70 series in New Delhi, introducing the V70 Elite as the first "Elite" model in the V Series. Featuring a 6.59" AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits peak brightness, the phone marks several firsts for the series including ultrasonic fingerprint scanning and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor.

The V70 Elite sports a triple camera system with 50MP main (Sony LYT-700V) and 50MP telephoto (Sony IMX882) sensors, plus an 8MP ultrawide. Its sleek design comes in three colors with matte finishes that resist fingerprints, though the camera module causes the phone to wobble on flat surfaces.

Performance includes up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, running Android 16-based OriginOS 6 with 6 years of security updates. Pricing starts at INR51,999 ($570) for the 8GB/256GB model, with sales beginning February 26 in India. The Authentic Black variant is both lighter and slimmer than the color options.
