vivo is reportedly reviving its S series in India with the upcoming S2, a device that follows the 2019 S1. A leaked teaser image has surfaced, offering a glimpse of the new smartphone. The vivo S2 is rumored to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, powering a 6.59-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Camera specifications are expected to include a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, a 32MP front-facing camera is anticipated. The device is also rumored to pack a substantial battery, exceeding 7,000 mAh, with support for 80W wired charging, alongside wireless and reverse wireless charging capabilities.

While an official launch date remains unconfirmed, the teaser campaign suggests the vivo S2 could be unveiled in the coming weeks.
