vivo's Indian branch has confirmed the vivo S2 will be unveiled on August 6 at 12 PM IST. A promo page on vivo's official Indian website also reveals the smartphone's design, showing a curved display with a centered punch-hole for the selfie camera.

The rear features a horizontally aligned camera island housing two cameras and a circular flash. The right side frame, made of plastic, holds the volume rocker and power button, while the top includes a secondary microphone and speaker. vivo previously teased a flagship-inspired design with power-packed performance and immersive audio-visual experience.

According to a recent leak, the vivo S2 will pack the Dimensity 7360 Turbo SoC, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and Origin OS 6. The display is a 6.83-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution. The primary rear camera uses a 50MP Sony IMX582 sensor alongside a 2MP unit, while the front gets a 32MP sensor.

The device will be fueled by a massive 7,050 mAh battery with 44W charging support and carry IP68 and IP69 ratings. The rumored launch price falls between INR40,000 and INR45,000.
