Samsung Wallet adds Trips feature for unified travel view

Samsung introduced a new “Trips” section inside its Wallet app, promising to pull every reservation into a single timeline. The feature stitches hotel bookings, flight itineraries, car rentals and tickets for trains, buses, theme parks or sports events into one view, cutting the need to flip between apps. Users can also add manual entries and memos. The interface mirrors Samsung’s design language, with swipeable cards and colour‑coded icons for quick reference.

Trips groups entries by date and location, giving busy itineraries structure from departure to arrival. Samsung says the timeline will appear automatically when eligible items are saved, but it also supports manual additions for trips that lack digital confirmations. Travelers can also sync the view with calendar apps for reminders. The rollout begins later this month in Korea, the United States and the United Kingdom.

By consolidating travel data, the Wallet aims to keep users inside Samsung’s ecosystem longer, a move that could pressure competing digital‑wallet services to add similar itinerary tools. Early adopters in the three launch markets will get a glimpse of how seamless travel management can become when every ticket lives in one place.
