Analysts warned that entry-level smartphones are highly sensitive to component cost increases. Samsung India has quietly raised prices across its low-end Galaxy A, F, and M series models, including both 4G and 5G variants.

Affected models include the Galaxy A06 5G, A07, A17, M07, and F07. Price increases range from ₹1,000 to ₹5,000 depending on configuration. For example, the Galaxy A06 5G 4/64GB rose from ₹14,000 to ₹15,500, while the Galaxy A17 8/256GB jumped from ₹29,000 to ₹32,000.

The new pricing pushes the top-end Galaxy A17 (5G) above ₹30,000, making it relatively expensive for its segment. Despite the hikes, Samsung continues offering promotions like up to 10% cashback with select bank cards, a ₹2,000 first-purchase benefit on Samsung.com, and trade-in options.

These changes reflect ongoing RAM and storage shortages affecting the industry, with entry-level devices bearing the brunt of rising component costs.
