Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Series Launches with Dual Models

Samsung unveiled its 2026 foldable lineup featuring two distinct models: the Galaxy Z Fold8 with a shorter, wider 4:3 design for media consumption, and the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra retaining a taller, productivity-focused form factor. Both are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with pricing starting at €1,999 for the Fold8 and €2,200 for the Ultra. Pre-orders are open globally with availability from August 7.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 arrives with a thinner design despite an 800mAh battery, while the Galaxy Watch9 launches in 40mm and 44mm sizes with the new Snapdragon Wear Elite chipset and expanded AI health tracking. Both watches are available for pre-order now, shipping August 7.

HMD introduced the Nokia 123 Shield, a rugged feature phone with IP68 rating, 2.4-inch display, 2,000mAh removable battery rated for 19 days standby, and €49 pricing for late July release.

Meanwhile, the iQOO 16T is rumored to test either a 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 or MediaTek Dimensity 9600 with a built-in cooling fan, while the vivo X300 E confirms a July 27 China launch with a 7,200mAh battery, Zeiss periscope camera, and 90W charging.
