That means a 50MP main sensor, 12MP ultrawide, and 10MP selfie camera—no resolution upgrades in sight. While Samsung may swap in better sensors without changing megapixel counts, don't expect any major photographic leaps.

This lack of camera evolution comes as the Flip8 is also rumored to drop in thickness and weight, powered by the new Exynos 2600 chip. Despite unchanged cameras, the phone is expected to match the Flip7's pricing, avoiding a price hike for identical specs. Foldable phones remain a niche market where Samsung competes mostly with itself.
