New leaks from tipster Galaxy Techie on X reveal upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will feature redesigned bands, fresh color options, and updated watch faces as part of the One UI 9 Watch rollout based on Wear OS 7.

The Watch9 appears noticeably more angular than predecessors, while Ultra 2 sports thinner bezels and refined side buttons. Samsung has reportedly dropped the Classic variant this year, leaving just the standard Watch9 in beige, black with bluish band, and silver with green band. Both models share similar strap designs differing only in perforation patterns.

Launch timing targets July 22, 2026 at a London Galaxy Unpacked event alongside new foldables. Battery specs show Ultra 2 carrying an 800 mAh cell versus Watch9's 400 mAh capacity. The orange accent button shifts to orange outline styling rather than full saturation.

These changes suggest Samsung's push toward distinct product tiers without cannibalizing sales across variants, while the Wear OS 7 foundation hints at deeper Google integration for Galaxy wearables.
