Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 Review: Bigger Battery, Brighter Display

Samsung skipped a Watch Ultra in 2025 for the Classic; now the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 arrives with a major battery upgrade. The new 800mAh cell (up from 590mAh, a 35% increase) promises 60 hours of Wear OS runtime, though that pales beside the Honor Watch 6's 35 days. Charging reaches 40% in 30 minutes via the same 10W USB-C magnetic puck.

The display grows slightly past 1.5 inches and hits 5,000 nits peak brightness. Durability improves with IP68/IP69K and 10 ATM ratings, making it fully dive-ready with a dedicated diver app. Titanium casing and sapphire crystal return, while buttons feel clickier. However, there's still no rotating bezel or crown.

At just over 60 grams, the Ultra2 remains a large, heavy watch built for big wrists — heavier than the OnePlus Watch 4. Pricing starts at €749 for the 64GB/2GB model.
