Samsung Galaxy S27 CAD Renders Leak

Yesterday some new CAD-based renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra leaked online, and today it's the vanilla Galaxy S27's turn to get the exact same treatment. Immediately you can see a stark difference between the S27 and the S27 Ultra. The top of the line device has a new camera island design, while the entry-level model won't.

In fact, the Galaxy S27 looks remarkably similar to the Galaxy S26, with its oval-shaped camera bump that's in the top left corner of the rear. The S27 allegedly measures 149.75 x 71.88 x 7.25 mm, which makes it very very slightly larger than its predecessor on all axes. Like with the S27 Ultra, however, you will not notice fractions of a millimeter in added size no matter how hard you try.

The S27 is also said to retain the 6.3-inch screen size of its predecessor. We assume the S27 will launch in new colors, which will definitely help differentiate it from the S26, otherwise that could be a tough job, as the comparison shot below shows. It's unclear whether Samsung will equip the S27 with the Exynos 2700 SoC or the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, or both depending on the market.

The S27 might use a new main camera sensor made by Sony, and rumor has it the device will get a silicon carbon battery with a 4,900 mAh capacity. That would definitely be a welcome upgrade from the S26's 4,300 mAh cell.
