Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S26 Ultra, featuring a new Privacy Display that dims portions of the screen when viewed from an angle. The flagship maintains its 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and 1-120Hz refresh rate, now protected by Corning Gorilla Armor 2. At 7.2mm thick and 214 grams, it's slightly thinner and lighter than its predecessor while retaining the titanium frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 back.

The device introduces 60W wired charging, overcoming the 45W barrier that has limited previous Ultra models. The 5,000mAh battery can reach 75% charge in 30 minutes with the right charger. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy powers the device, with RAM configurations ranging from 12GB to 16GB depending on storage capacity. The camera system sees modest upgrades, including a wider f/1.4 aperture on the 200MP main sensor and brighter 50MP 5x telephoto lens.

Running One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, the S26 Ultra packs enhanced Galaxy AI features including improved Photo Assist, Audio Eraser for third-party apps, and contextual Nudge capabilities. The device launches in multiple colors with pricing starting at €1,450 for the 12/256GB model, with pre-orders beginning immediately and sales commencing March 11.
