Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Benchmark Scores Revealed Ahead of Launch

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has appeared on Geekbench for the second time, with the latest listing revealing the global variant model SM-S741B. This follows an April sighting of the SM-S741U model, suggesting Samsung is actively testing both regional versions ahead of launch.

The benchmark confirms the device will use Samsung's S5E9955 chipset, which maps to the Exynos 2500 SoC. Specs include 8GB of RAM and Android 17, consistent with earlier leaks. However, performance scores tell a different story - the phone managed 2,104 in single-core and 7,148 in multi-core tests, slightly trailing previous benchmarks.

Design details emerged through the Wireless Power Consortium listing, showing the Galaxy S26 FE will mirror the Galaxy S26 series aesthetic with a triple rear camera setup. Samsung typically launches these Fan Edition models in September, positioning them as more affordable alternatives to flagship devices.

The repeated benchmark appearances suggest Samsung is in final testing phases. Lower scores compared to earlier listings could indicate thermal throttling or optimization issues, though these may improve before retail release.
