Samsung's Galaxy S23 FE may see its last major OS upgrade with Android 17-based One UI 9. This revelation comes via an X user who shared a screenshot of an alleged chat with a Samsung Korea representative regarding the SM-S711N model.

While the Galaxy S23 lineup originally promised four OS upgrades, suggesting the Exynos 2200-powered S23 FE should reach Android 18, plans have reportedly changed. The representative confirmed that Android 17 will be the final major upgrade for this device.

This shift affects all Galaxy S23 series smartphones, not just the FE model. While Samsung is already working on One UI 9, a stable rollout date has not yet been announced for the series.
