Samsung Galaxy A06 claimed the top spot as the best-selling smartphone in Latin America (LATAM) for 2025, according to Counterpoint Research. The Korean giant dominated the region, with four of its devices - including the A06, A16, A15, and A56 - ranking within the top ten best-sellers. This success translated to a significant 7% share of all smartphone sales across LATAM in the past year.

The report also highlights a strong preference for budget-friendly devices in the region. A majority of the top-ten phones, including the Motorola Moto G15 (third place) and Xiaomi Redmi 14C (fourth), featured average selling prices under $200. Additionally, 80% of these top-selling devices were 4G models, reflecting current market priorities. Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina drove the majority of sales in 2025.

Samsung's continued dominance in LATAM underscores its strong position in the budget-to-mid-range segment, while the prevalence of 4G devices suggests a focus on affordability over cutting-edge technology for many consumers in the region.
