Realme is preparing the C83 smartphone, positioned under the C85 launched in November. The device will arrive in three RAM/storage configurations: 4/64GB, 4/128GB, and 6/128GB, with prices in India rumored at INR 13,499, INR 14,499, and INR 17,499 respectively. Model number RMX5256 will be offered in Sprouting Green and Blooming Purple colorways.

The C83 succeeds the C73, which launched last June with a 6.67-inch LCD featuring 120Hz refresh rate. While full specifications for the C83 haven't leaked yet, the pricing strategy suggests Realme continues targeting budget-conscious consumers with incremental improvements in their C-series lineup.

Consumers can expect similar battery capacity and camera specifications as the C73, which featured a Dimensity 6300 SoC, 32MP main camera, 8MP selfie shooter, and 6,000 mAh battery with 15W charging. The C83 release could further intensify competition in India's sub-$200 smartphone segment.
