Oppo has disclosed camera specifications for its upcoming Reno16 series ahead of the China launch. The lineup includes a triple rear camera system headlined by a 200MP primary sensor, which positions the devices competitively in the photography-focused smartphone market. Both Reno16 models are already available for pre-order in China.

The camera array also features a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultrawide shooter. Oppo confirmed the phones will include a 50MP ultrawide selfie camera on the front. Rumored specifications suggest the Reno16 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch LTPO display paired with a Dimensity 9500s chipset and a 7,000mAh battery in a metal frame. The standard Reno16 is expected to use a smaller 6.3-inch display with a Dimensity 8000-series processor. These specifications target different market segments within Oppo's portfolio.
