Oppo unveiled two new tablets, the Pad 5 Pro and the Pad Mini, marking the company's latest push into high‑end Android hardware. The Pad 5 Pro slots a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, a 13.2‑inch LCD with up to 1,000 nits brightness, and a 13,380 mAh battery that supports 67 W fast charging. Optional Oppo Pencil 3 adds stylus capability.

Meanwhile the 8.8‑inch Pad Mini targets users who prefer a smaller form factor. It houses a non‑elite Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, up to 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM, and a 5,120 × 3,840‑pixel AMOLED display with a 60‑144 Hz adaptive refresh rate. Battery capacity drops to 8,000 mAh but retains the 67 W charge rate. Pricing starts at CNY 3,699 (about $542) for the base model and peaks at CNY 4,499 ($660) for the 12/512 GB configuration.

Both tablets arrive in three colors each and will ship from Oppo’s Chinese online store beginning April 24. The Pad 5 Pro continues the lineage of last year’s Pad 4 Pro, which later rebranded as the OnePlus Pad 3, hinting that a OnePlus Pad 4 could follow. With Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and ColorOS 16 on Android 16, Oppo positions these devices as premium productivity tools for the Android tablet market.
