Oppo has joined Google's Quick Share initiative, enabling seamless file sharing between its Find X9 and Find X9 Pro devices and Apple products. The company confirmed that a software update arriving later this month will activate the Quick Share - AirDrop interconnection, allowing users to transfer files to iOS, iPadOS, and macOS devices without third-party apps.

This marks a significant shift from Oppo's previous approach, which relied on its O+Connect app that required iPhone users to install additional software. The new Quick Share feature, developed in partnership with Google and MediaTek, promises a more user-friendly experience that mirrors the simplicity of sharing between Android devices.

The Find X9 Ultra, set to launch soon, will also support this functionality. This move by Oppo represents a broader industry trend toward cross-platform compatibility, making it easier for users to share files regardless of their device ecosystem.
