OnePlus India posted a teaser on X confirming a new entry‑level lineup called the OnePlus N-series. The image hints at an Amazon Specials debut and suggests the first handset will be the OnePlus N6. Pricing is expected to sit under ₹20,000, positioning it against Redmi, Realme and Poco devices in the sub‑budget segment, as it seeks broader market share in India.

India already carries OnePlus’s Nord lineup—Nord 6, Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite—but the cheapest Nord still retails for about ₹23,000 in its base 6/128 GB configuration. The N6’s sub‑₹20,000 target directly undercuts that tier while preserving the Amazon Specials distribution channel that launched the Nord CE 6 Lite. Industry chatter pins the debut for next month, though OnePlus has not set a date.

If OnePlus delivers on price and performance, the N6 could force rivals to tighten margins in India’s fiercely contested budget market. Redmi, Realme and Poco have built sizable ecosystems around sub‑₹20,000 phones; a credible OnePlus entry adds brand diversity and may shift consumer loyalty. The teaser confirms the company’s commitment to expanding its low‑end portfolio via Amazon.
