Nothing Phone (4b) Poll Shows Grim Outlook

Things are looking grim for the Nothing Phone (4b) – it needs a price cut immediately. Last week's poll shows few would buy even with good reviews. Compared to the Nothing Phone (4a), the (4b) has slow, non-expandable storage, a relatively weak chipset, only 3 OS updates, a small camera sensor, and poor pricing. Many would choose the (4a) instead, as the price premium is small or nonexistent with promos. The (4a) offers a 12/256GB variant; the (4b) is mostly 8/128GB (except 8/256GB in India). India also gets a 6,000mAh battery vs. 5,200mAh globally.

Price table (no discounts): Nothing Phone (3a) Lite €250/£250, (4b) €330/£300/₹35,000, (4a) €350/£380/₹40,000. Competing mid-rangers with better cameras, chipsets, or batteries pose bigger hurdles. Carl Pei and team must rethink – with no flagship this year and the CMF Phone 3 Pro cancelled, only the Phone (4a) and (4a) Pro remain. The (4b) will launch without a splash.
