Motorola's $500 Moto G Stylus 2026 Hits Stores with Minor Upgrades

Motorola rolled out the Moto G Stylus (2026) in early April and began shipping it this week. Retailers including Amazon, Best Buy and Motorola.com list the device at $500, bundled only with a USB cable. Buyers will need to provide their own case and a 68 W charger, but the phone’s textured back panel, sleek design and IP69 durability let it skip a protective case for many users.

The handset’s headline feature is the built‑in stylus, echoing Samsung’s approach on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. A button on the pen summons a dedicated menu, while a clicky end offers quick shortcuts. Internally, the 2026 model upgrades to UFS 3.1 storage, adds an IP69 rating over the previous IP68, and tacks on an extra 200 mAh to the 5,000 mAh battery.

Other hardware stays unchanged: a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, 8 GB RAM, 6.7‑inch 120 Hz AMOLED display, and a triple‑camera array of 50 MP wide, 13 MP ultrawide and 32 MP selfie lenses. By keeping the core spec sheet steady while nudging durability and storage, Motorola positions the device as a value‑focused upgrade, especially as the 2025 version’s price drops, appealing to consumers seeking solid performance in the mid‑range market.
