Motorola's upcoming Edge 70 Pro and Razr 70 Ultra have appeared in separate certification databases, signaling an imminent launch. The Razr 70 Ultra with model number XT2655-4 received approval in China from 3C, confirming support for 68W wired charging. This matches the charging speed of last year's Razr 60 Ultra, suggesting Motorola isn't upgrading this feature on its latest foldable.

The Edge 70 Pro with model number XT2607-1 earned TDRA certification in the UAE, officially linking the name to this specific model number. A previous Brazilian Anatel certification had failed to make this connection. More importantly, that earlier certification revealed the Edge 70 Pro will pack a massive 6,500 mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging.

These certifications follow a day of leaked renders showing both devices. The Edge 70 Pro's battery capacity and charging speed represent significant upgrades over previous Edge models, while the Razr 70 Ultra maintains its predecessor's charging capabilities. With both devices now certified in multiple regions, Motorola appears to be preparing for a coordinated global launch of its 2025 smartphone lineup.
