It has been more than two years since Microsoft held a major event, but that is about to change. The company has announced a Windows and Surface event for October 7 in San Francisco. The event will share new details about AI, Windows, the Surface Laptop Ultra, and the Nvidia RTX Spark.

According to Engadget, the event will focus on local AI on Windows PCs, while Microsoft is also expected to announce the availability and pricing of the Surface Laptop Ultra, which was unveiled in June. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Microsoft Executive Vice President of Windows and Devices Pavan Davuluri, and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang are said to be attending the event.
