Chinese smartphone maker iQOO expands its Z11 line with the Z11i, a budget‑friendly 5G handset that launched this week in China. It carries a 6.74‑inch LCD panel refreshed at 120 Hz and an HD+ resolution, while the display can peak at 1,200 nits in bright mode. The device runs Android 16‑based Origin OS 6 out of the box.

Power comes from a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC with up to 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage and a microSD slot for expansion. A single 13 MP rear sensor with LED flash and an RGB ring light handles photography, while a 5 MP front camera sits in a water‑drop notch. Battery capacity hits 6,500 mAh, supporting 15 W wired charging.

Pricing starts at CNY 1,299 (about $190) for the 6 GB/128 GB model, rising to CNY 1,699 ($240) for the top‑end 8 GB/256 GB variant. The phone also offers dual SIM 5G, dual‑band Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, a USB‑C port, a 3.5 mm jack, side‑mounted fingerprint sensor, and IP65 dust‑ and water‑resistance, available today.

iQOO ships the Z11i in Desert Gold, Ink Shadow and Qingfeng (light blue) colors, aiming at cost‑conscious consumers who value long battery life and a smooth 120 Hz display. By bundling a mid‑range Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 with a massive 6,500 mAh cell, the brand reinforces its strategy of aggressive pricing in the crowded Chinese mid‑tier market.
