Insta360 Pro Webcams Get Larger Sensors

Insta360 is refreshing its webcam lineup with new Pro models, less than a year after launching the Link 2 and 2C. The headline upgrade is a new 1/1.3" sensor across both devices, offering over twice the light-gathering area of the original models. This hardware shift targets creators and professionals who need better low-light performance and depth for AI-driven background blur.

The Link 2 Pro retains the motorized gimbal for active subject tracking, letting it follow you around a room. You can set specific tracking zones to keep the camera focused on a designated area. The Link 2C Pro skips the gimbal, relying instead on intelligent in-sensor zoom to frame shots.

Both shoot 4K at 30fps and include AI noise reduction. Pricing reflects the upgrades. The Link 2 Pro is $250, while the 2C Pro is $200, a modest bump from the originals.

This move puts Insta360 in closer competition with premium webcams from Logitech.
