Huawei has launched the 2026 MateBook Fold Extraordinary Master Edition, upgrading last year's foldable laptop with the new Kirin X90 Plus chipset. The device supports up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage while retaining most hardware from its predecessor.

The 18-inch dual-layer LTPO OLED foldable display offers a 3,296 x 2,472-pixel resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio. Folded, it mimics a 13-inch laptop with a 2,472 x 1,648 resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio. An 8MP front camera, zirconium-based liquid metal hinge with multiple viewing angles, and a built-in pop-out kickstand complete the design.

Running Harmony OS 6.1 with AI features, the laptop packs a 74.69Wh battery, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and satellite connectivity. Audio includes six speakers and four microphones. Available in Phantom Black, Radiant Gold, and Sky White with vegan leather finishes.

Pricing starts at CNY 24,999 ($3,700) for the 24GB + 512GB model. The 24GB + 1TB and 32GB + 2TB variants cost CNY 26,999 ($4,000) and CNY 29,999 ($4,445) respectively. Sales have begun through Huawei's official online store in China.
