Honor has quietly launched the X6d, a budget 5G smartphone that appears to be a rebranded version of the Play 60A for the UAE market. The device features a Dimensity 6300 chipset, a significant upgrade from the Play 60A's 13MP camera to a 50MP f/2.0 main sensor, though video recording remains capped at 1080p @ 30fps.

The X6d maintains most of the Play 60A's specifications, including a 6.75-inch 720p+ LCD display, 4GB RAM, and 256GB storage. The battery capacity shows a minor change from 5,300mAh to 5,260mAh, likely the same cell with different labeling. The phone runs Android 15 with Honor's MagicOS skin and includes a 5MP selfie camera.

Priced at AED 509 (approximately $138, €116, ₹12,555), the Honor X6d comes in Midnight Black and Ocean Cyan color options. Interestingly, certification documents reveal the model number NLA-NX1 is also associated with the Honor 500 Smart, suggesting this device may have multiple branding identities across different markets. This launch strategy mirrors Honor's approach of creating region-specific variants of similar hardware to target different market segments.
