Honor confirmed the Robot Phone will debut in China on August 12 during its "Imaging Technology Launch Event" with Arri. Reservations opened earlier this month via Weibo, though the announcement omitted specifications.

Leaked details suggest the device will run on a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with a 6,000mAh battery. The camera system reportedly includes a 200MP main sensor mounted on a robotic arm gimbal, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide shooter.

An unboxing video circulating on Weibo reveals the retail packaging and the prominent rear camera module. The robotic gimbal sits on the left side beneath a protective cover when idle, while the right side houses the remaining lenses and LED flash. The footage also shows the camera app animation when the gimbal activates. The box bundles a protective case, USB cable, and a 120W fast charger.
