Honor has unveiled key camera specifications for its upcoming Robot Phone at a dedicated event in China. This device, developed in partnership with Arri, introduces features like native Log-C3 video encoding, on-device LUT color grading, and a Cinema mode designed to emulate Arri camera aesthetics. The Robot Phone boasts over 100 patents, with its main camera being a 200MP sensor equipped with a three-axis gimbal. This primary camera utilizes a 1/1.28-inch sensor with an f/1.6 aperture and Honor's proprietary Yuguang H1 image signal processor.

The custom gimbal motor is remarkably lightweight at just 2.6 grams, described as 65% smaller than standard gimbal sensors while providing 35% greater torque density. Complementing the main camera are a 200MP periscope lens and a 50MP ultrawide module. Beyond its camera system, the Honor Robot Phone is anticipated to feature a 6.3" to 6.4" display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and a substantial 6,000mAh battery. The official launch is scheduled for August 12.
