Honor has unveiled key camera details for its upcoming "Robot Phone," emphasizing a "new era" focused on bringing cinematography-level features to everyday mobile photography. At an Image Technology event in Hengdian, China, the company detailed its in-house Ai MAGE imaging engine, which utilizes a Transformer-based AI ISP for advanced image processing. This technology will leverage the Robot Phone's titanium alloy three-axis gimbal and precision sensing hardware to enhance image quality and motion control.

Furthermore, Honor announced a partnership with ARRI, a renowned name in professional filmmaking. This collaboration aims to integrate ARRI Look, Log C3, and Wide Gamut 3 into the Robot Phone, providing a professional color and workflow foundation. Cinematographer Claudio Miranda has already used the device to recreate a cinematic scene, praising its ability to capture stunning image quality and its compact form factor, which allows for greater creative freedom and reduced production burden.

The Robot Phone is slated for launch on August 12. It will feature impressive camera hardware, including a 200MP main lens, a 50MP ultrawide, and another 200MP telephoto sensor. Honor envisions the device as an "AI terminal ecosystem company" that pushes the boundaries of mobile imaging for professional and everyday creative scenarios.
