The Honor Magic9 series will be unveiled at the end of this month and is expected to include three models: the Magic9, the 9 Pro, and the Magic9 Pro Max. The Magic9 Pro Max, shown in Moss Green color from prior teasers, appeared in an early unboxing and hands-on video posted on Weibo. The video highlights the phone’s exterior, featuring a redesigned camera island that replaces the "Oreo" style from the Magic8 series with a mix of round elements and a full-width rectangle.

Rear camera markings indicate a 200MP 1/1.28" sensor with f/1.57 lens and OIS correcting up to 3° of deflection, plus a second 200MP sensor (1/1.4") behind the periscope lens. Honor’s partnership with ARRI continues to benefit the Magic9 series. The front retains the wide pill cutout for the selfie camera and 3D depth sensor, noted as the first Androids with a square selfie camera sensor.

The device features slender 1mm bezels, symmetrical 1216 speakers with top and bottom grilles, and the latest AI button on the right side.
