Today Google has announced its September Android drop, incorporating five new features coming to devices worldwide. Users will soon be able to ask Gemini to remember where important items are saved in Google's Find Hub, intended for objects like passports or spare keys without tracker tags. This feature requires Android 16 and later and availability in countries where Gemini and Find Hub operate.

Motion Assist helps reduce motion sickness via a bubble overlay that moves with the vehicle, customizable in shape and color, arriving on Android 17. Guided vision assists in reading fine print or identifying objects through the Gemini Live camera, with voice feedback for reframing, soon available on Android 9 and later. Google Messages gains collaborative note and list sharing via the icon, with rollout already started.

Finally, Messages users can customize each chat with unique background and color themes, available now. These updates enhance accessibility, organization, and personalization across the Android ecosystem.
