iPhone Duo is coming October 23, but several unannounced features in its Stand By mode were discovered hidden in Apple code. iPhone Duo Stand By mode will have additional views not yet seen. When iPhone Duo arrives next month, it will be the most versatile iPhone yet, thanks to its dual displays and special modes available in folded, unfolded, landscape, portrait, seated, or standing configurations. Standing enables a range of new Stand By features and unlike previous iPhones, you can use iPhone Duo's Stand By mode even when not charging.

Leaky pdfu uncovered five new Stand By views: Home Camera, Home Modular, Flow, Fade, and Snoopy. The first two let you view single or grid camera feeds or custom smart home controls. Flow may portray responsive art, while Fade details are unclear but may be similar. Snoopy is expected to resemble Apple's tvOS screensaver.

These join previously seen views like Analog, Digital, Classic Calendar, Weather, Photos, Memories, Shared Albums, and Modular. pdfu's full thread on X reveals customization screens for several Stand By views. Rushmore, the app for redesigned faces, is missing from iOS 27.1 simulator, but localization strings reveal unreported faces.
