Xiaomi has confirmed that the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will launch internationally, unlike their predecessors from last year. With the 18 Ultra rumored to have been canceled, the 18 Pro Max will essentially be the company's flagship smartphone going into 2027.

The global version of the device has now appeared in the online results database of Geekbench AI. It carries the model number 2611 FPNFAG and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, just like its Chinese counterpart. The prototype that was tested was paired with 12GB of RAM. In China, the device is also offered with 16GB of RAM, but it remains to be seen whether that option will be available in the global version as well.

As with EU-bound models, battery capacity is another open question. The Chinese Xiaomi 18 Pro carries a 7,000 mAh battery, while the 18 Pro Max sports an 8,500 mAh cell. Observers will be watching to see whether those figures remain unchanged for the global launch. The duo is expected to ship with Android 17 and Xiaomi's HyperOS 4 on top.

For reference, the Chinese Xiaomi 18 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED main screen with 1208x2624 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 4,000-nit peak brightness, along with a 2.9-inch LTPO AMOLED cover screen. Storage options include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The camera array consists of a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 200MP periscope telephoto with OIS and 3.2x optical zoom, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP selfie camera.
