Fairphone has officially confirmed that the Fairphone 6+ will launch on August 18, with the unveiling scheduled for 13:00 CET. The company announced the date via its newsroom account, putting an end to earlier rumors about the device's release.

According to leaks, the Fairphone 6+ will feature several upgrades over its predecessor, including a newer Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset compared to the Gen 3 found in the standard Fairphone 6, along with increased RAM from 8GB to 12GB. A new Cobalt Blue color option is also expected to be introduced. Aside from these enhancements, the two models appear to be largely identical.

The rumored price for the Fairphone 6+ is set at €649, marking a €50 increase over the original launch price of the Fairphone 6 and €100 more than its current market value. All details will be confirmed when the device is officially unveiled on August 18.
