Apple has unveiled the Apple Home Collection, a range of smart home accessories co-developed with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric. Announced alongside the Home View smart display, the next-generation Apple TV 4K, and the HomePod mini 2, all featuring Siri AI, the lineup includes four LG cameras, an LG smart lock, two smart thermostats from LG and Schneider Electric, and a temperature sensor from each company.

Every device sets up with a single tap of an iPhone and is controlled entirely from the Home app or with Siri, so there is no separate app to download and no account to create. All support Thread and automatically update their network credentials when you change your Wi-Fi.

The four cameras record up to 2.5K video and recognize people, familiar faces, pets, vehicles, and packages. Footage history lives in your iCloud+ plan, so there is no separate camera subscription. The LG Video Doorbell Wired pairs a 2.5K front camera with a Full HD bottom camera that watches packages, while the LG Floodlight Cam adds dual adaptive floodlights and low-light color night vision. The LG Indoor Cam Plug-In has a 160-degree field of view and tilts to check in on your home, then stops monitoring once the first person arrives.

The LG Smart Deadbolt Lock uses Ultra Wideband to unlock automatically as you approach with your iPhone or Apple Watch. It also supports tap-to-unlock, a PIN pad, and a hidden physical key, and its core functions run locally without an internet connection. Both thermostats use Adaptive Temperature to adjust heating and cooling based on whether you are home, asleep, or away. The Collection goes on sale in December, with select products following in early 2027.
