Xbox announced April additions to Game Pass with several high-profile titles joining the service this month. Among the highlights, Hades 2 debuts on Xbox Series X/S alongside Replaced and The Thaumaturge on April 14. The month also brings EA Sports NHL 26 and a remastered version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, continuing Xbox's strategy of adding major franchises to its subscription service.

The service continues its strategy of adding major franchises, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare arriving on April 17. Game Pass subscribers can also look forward to Final Fantasy IV on April 7 and Planet Coaster 2 on April 9. While many additions were previously confirmed, they still represent substantial value for subscribers across different tiers of the service, from Game Pass Essential to Ultimate.

Xbox maintains its rotating library model by removing several titles on April 15, including the long-standing Grand Theft Auto V. Other games leaving the service are Ashen, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery, and Terra Invicta. This rotation keeps the catalog fresh for existing subscribers while incentivizing new subscriptions to Microsoft's gaming ecosystem.
