Wing has expanded its drone delivery service to the Bay Area, returning to where it began. The Google X startup initially delivered office supplies across Google's Mountain View campus before moving to home deliveries. Now Bay Area residents can receive packages weighing up to five pounds delivered in 30 minutes or less, including groceries and food items.

The drone delivery company recently extended its services to 150 additional Walmart locations across major US cities including Los Angeles, St. Louis, Cincinnati and Miami. Wing also expanded hours of operation to 9 AM to 9 PM in Charlotte and Dallas-Fort Worth with Federal Aviation Administration approval, demonstrating its growing operational scale.

Wing continues its rapid expansion across metropolitan areas, with Orlando and Tampa mentioned as potential future markets. The company's Bay Area return marks a full circle moment from its early days as a Google X incubator project to now serving the tech-friendly Silicon Valley region directly with its automated delivery drones.
