WiiM, known for speakers and amplifiers, enters the soundbar market with its $479 Bar. The 3.0.2-channel system features eight drivers and a distinctive glass-covered 2.1-inch touchscreen display centered on the front panel. This display handles playback controls, source switching, EQ adjustments, and shows album art during music playback.

A traditional control panel sits atop the speaker for users preferring physical buttons. The WiiM Home App supports streaming from over 20 services including Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and Google Cast. Inside, front-facing mid-woofers and tweeters combine with up-firing height drivers and four passive radiators for audio output.

The Bar supports both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for immersive sound. Users can expand the base 3.0.2 configuration to full 5.1.2 surround sound with additional WiiM speakers or a subwoofer. RoomFit calibration automatically measures room acoustics and adjusts audio output accordingly.

Clear Voice Mode enhances dialogue clarity while Night Mode reduces loud sounds without compromising speech quality. The WiiM Bar is available for pre-order now at $479 ahead of July availability. This positions WiiM competitively in the premium soundbar segment while differentiating through its integrated touchscreen interface.
