A Reddit user, ssuberlex, posted on the r/Controller subreddit asking if the device they purchased through the OfferUp app could be the rumored controller. Commenters confirmed it matched leaked images from Brazilian regulator Anatel. The poster noted the controller wouldn't pair with their Xbox, suggesting it might be a developer kit. The account has since been deleted, but images remain showing a screen with a URL linked to the model.

The last Xbox controller release was in 2022, making this potential leak significant. Reports indicate the Elite Controller 3 will feature Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm jack, two scroll wheels, trigger locks, and a new pairing button for switching between local and cloud gaming.
