The Czech Republic’s Ministry of Transport granted provisional approval for Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (Supervised), making it the seventh European country to allow the system. Tesla Europe announced on X that rollout to Czech residents will begin soon.

The Czech agency based its decision on the provisional approval issued by the RDW, the Dutch auto regulatory authority, in April. It initially had concerns about how FSD Supervised responds to traffic lights and speed limits, and how it ensures drivers remain attentive and ready to take over. After months of evaluation and reviewing experience from other countries, Czechia approved the software.

Czechia joins the Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark, Belgium, and Slovenia in allowing Tesla’s driver assistance system. Tesla is still seeking approval in larger European countries like France, which is currently running tests. The company hopes to expand FSD Supervised across the European Union, but would need support from at least 15 of the 27 member states in a vote that could take place as early as October.
