Respawn Entertainment revealed the gameplay trailer for Star Wars Zero Company at Summer Game Fest. The game, developed with Bit Reactor and published by EA, will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on August 27. Star Wars Zero Company, announced in 2022, builds on Respawn's expertise from Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor.

The game draws inspiration from XCOM, featuring base building at "The Den" and team recruitment across species. Set during the Clone Wars twilight, players control former Republic officer Hawks hunting Kundri Fathom, a Dark Side cult leader. The trailer includes a brief appearance from Anakin Skywalker as a Jedi General during this period.

Players can preorder Star Wars Zero Company for $70 in Standard Edition, with a Deluxe edition offering cosmetic packs and an R3 droid. The game promises authentic Star Wars storytelling with new characters, customization options, and Separatist Droids. Respawn worked directly with Lucasfilm Games to ensure narrative authenticity.
