Spotify now offers more than 650 narrated magazine pieces, adding long‑form journalism to its audiobook catalog. The first batch features titles from Rolling Stone, The Atlantic, Vogue, and others, all produced in‑house.

The rollout targets English‑speaking regions where audiobooks are sold. Each article lasts under two hours, fitting neatly into the 15‑hour monthly allowance for Premium users. Readers can also buy individual pieces for $2.

By pairing music, podcasts, and books, Spotify aims to deepen subscriber engagement with audio content. The move follows recent AI‑driven updates unveiled at the company’s investor day, hinting at broader personalization tools.

With this expansion, Spotify positions itself as a one‑stop audio destination, leveraging familiar publications to attract listeners who already enjoy its music and podcast offerings.
