Sennheiser entered the open-ear earbud market with its new Accentum Clip model, joining competitors like Sony and Bose in offering clip-on designs that don't seal the ear canal. The earbuds feature 12mm dynamic drivers with Dynamic EQ that automatically adjusts tuning at lower volumes for consistent audio quality.

Each 6.8-gram earbud uses a flexible silicone bridge that wraps around the ear edge, making them among the lighter options in this category. The Accentum Clip delivers up to nine hours of playback on a single charge, with the case providing three additional full charges. Users get multipoint Bluetooth connectivity, single-earbud mode, and touch controls for volume and calls.

A dual-microphone system incorporates AI-powered noise reduction to isolate voice from background noise during calls. The earbuds carry an IP54 rating for dust and sweat resistance, suitable for workouts and daily wear. However, availability remains limited initially.

Sennheiser's rollout starts in Canada, China, and Central/South America, with European expansion planned but no US release date confirmed. The earbuds will retail for $269.95 CAD (approximately $190 USD), positioning them in the premium segment of the open-ear market.
