Apple plans massive 6.4-inch and 7-inch screens for iPhone 20

The iPhone 20 will have larger displays than current Pro and Pro Max models, with a leaker insisting 6.4-inch and 7-inch screens are being prototyped. The Pro models have long hosted the largest screens in Apple's iPhone empire. According to a Tuesday Weibo post by serial leaker Digital Chat Station, Apple is prototyping two new screen sizes.

The 6.4-inch display is probably for the anniversary iPhone 20 Pro, while the 7-inch version is presumably for the iPhone 20 Pro Max. For reference, the iPhone 17 Pro has a 6.3-inch display, while the Pro Max has a 6.9-inch version. The leaker adds that proportions will remain the same, referring to the aspect ratio.

The post also hints at a "new bezel-less quad-curved design." Digital Chat Station previously raised the prospect of a 7-inch display in July and claimed Apple was sourcing a "four-micro-curve" OLED panel from Samsung in April. Weibo leakers aren't known for accuracy, so treat claims with skepticism until nearer to the anniversary.
