The soccer hub shows ongoing games in a carousel format with tap-to-expand details. Users can select favorite teams for notifications about key moments. Available in both Opera and Opera Mini, the hub uses an AI-powered news feed instead of human curation.

The start page refresh includes a weather widget and new shortcuts for private browsing and AI mode. Speed dial icons now offer square, round or "squircle" shapes. Users retain customization options while gaining quicker access to key features.
