However, potential buyers should brace for a higher price point, given the increasing costs of Apple components and recent device price hikes.

Beyond the iPad mini, Apple's broader iPad lineup is expected to see refreshes in 2027. The entry-level iPad is slated for an early 2025 release with a spec bump but no major design changes. The next-generation iPad Air, along with new iPad Pro and Apple Pencil models, are anticipated in spring 2027. While Apple eventually plans to introduce OLED to the iPad Air, the base iPad will likely retain its LCD screen.
