Nintendo is celebrating Mario Day next week with three retro titles coming to Nintendo Switch Online. The additions include Mario's Tennis and Mario Clash for the Virtual Boy emulator, plus Mario Vs. Donkey Kong for the Game Boy Advance. All three games require the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership to access.

Both Virtual Boy games originally launched in 1995, with Mario Clash reimagining the classic arcade Mario Bros. in 3D while Mario's Tennis became the first entry in the Mario Tennis series. These join seven other Virtual Boy titles already available in the library. Players will need either the $100 Virtual Boy replica or $25 cardboard headset to experience the games in their intended 3D format.

Mario Vs. Donkey Kong's inclusion is particularly notable since Nintendo recently remade the puzzle-platformer for modern Switch consoles. While having the original available via NSO is a nice touch, fans have noted other missing Mario titles from the GBA library that could have been prioritized instead. All three games will be playable starting March 10.
