French gaming company Nacon has filed for insolvency after majority shareholder Bigben failed to make a loan repayment. The company reported available assets cannot meet liabilities, with the objective being to continue operations, protect employees, and renegotiate with creditors during this financial crisis. Nacon Connect presentation remains scheduled for March 4.

Nacon developed titles like Styx: Blades of Greed and was set to publish Terminator: Survivors. Last year's Hell is Us received some praise, while Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown struggled with bugs and poor audience reception. The company also produces controllers, headsets, and racing sim accessories through Revosim, finding more success with professional gamers than the mainstream market.

With Nacon's insolvency filing, the future of both their upcoming games and existing hardware products now hangs in the balance. A court will rule on the insolvency request in early March, but trading of Nacon's shares has been suspended as the company attempts to navigate through these significant financial difficulties.
