Metanet announced N PLUS INFINITY TIMES TWO, arriving on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Switch 2 in 2027. The Canadian studio behind the minimalist N series returns with their signature stick-figure aesthetic and precise platforming mechanics. This marks their first major console release in years, expanding beyond the PC-focused releases of N and N+.

The game features five distinct modes: classic Trials and Co-op (polished for modern play), revamped Racing with bazooka finishers, American Ninja Warrior-inspired One-up, and Team Tag where two-on-two teams compete as Ninjas or Hunters. Cross-play support connects all platforms, while single-player options maintain the series' solo appeal. Metanet describes Racing as a faster Fall Guys experience.

Technical precision remains central to the N formula. 256x anti-aliasing and sub-pixel movement tracking create slick animations, but the real innovation lies in using circular hitboxes instead of traditional squares. This design choice, inspired by early 2000s Bungie research on Halo physics, fundamentally changes how characters interact with surfaces and edges.

The soundtrack showcases approximately 60 global artists hand-selected from Bandcamp, featuring UK garage and electronic music from the 2020s. Team Tag stands as the game's featured mode, blending cooperative and competitive elements through its Ninja-Hunter dynamic.
